Safety & Child Safety
BiSChat is built so you feel safe gathering with your community. This page explains how we protect you, the rules we enforce, and how to report.
Our promise
You’re in control
- Strangers can’t send you private messages or photos until you accept their request.
- Every message, profile, club and channel can be reported from the app.
- You can block anyone. Blocked people can no longer contact you.
- Private clubs can only be joined with the owner’s or an admin’s approval.
Age limits
BiSChat users must meet the minimum age set out in the Terms of Service. Buzz channels, our anonymous chat spaces, are for people aged 18 and over only. We ask for your date of birth once before you enter Buzz.
Moderation
- Every Buzz channel has moderators who can remove messages and members.
- Club owners and admins keep the rules in their own clubs.
- The BiSChat team reviews every report. Child safety reports are handled first.
Child Safety Standards
BiSChat strictly prohibits all forms of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Prohibited, without exception:
- Creating, sharing, requesting or storing sexual material involving children.
- Grooming: approaching a child for sexual purposes, including through chats, clubs, channels or Live broadcasts.
- Sextortion: threatening or blackmailing a child with images or personal information.
- Content that sexualises children in any form, including AI-generated images.
- Child trafficking or any promotion that puts children at risk.
What we do when we find or receive a report:
- The content is removed and the account is permanently banned, and we prevent the offender from creating new accounts.
- Evidence is preserved as the law requires, for investigation.
- Verified cases are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant local or international law enforcement.
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement, including data preservation requests and court orders.
How to report
If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police or your local emergency services first.
For parents
- Show your child how to use block and report.
- Remind them that chat requests from strangers can be declined.
- Contact us if you find an account belonging to a child under the minimum age. We will close it.
Legal compliance
BiSChat is operated by Airsid LTD in the United Kingdom and complies with the child safety laws that apply in the UK, as well as the laws of the countries where our users live.
Official policy
Child Safety and CSAE/CSAM Prevention Policy of AIRSID LTD for the BisChat app.
1. Introduction
AIRSID LTD (“Company,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”) operates the BisChat messaging platform. We are unequivocally committed to protecting minors and maintaining a safe, secure environment for all users.
We have a strict zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), grooming, and any other activity that endangers minors. This policy outlines our proactive and reactive measures to detect, prevent, and report such abhorrent activities.
2. Zero-Tolerance Enforcement
Any user found sharing, promoting, soliciting, or engaging with CSAM or CSAE on BisChat will face immediate and permanent consequences.
Immediate Account Termination: The offending user’s account will be permanently banned without notice or possibility of appeal.
Content Removal: Associated material will be documented for law enforcement and immediately removed from broader access.
Network Ban: We employ identifying measures to prevent the user from creating new accounts on our platform.
3. In-App Reporting Tool
We empower our community to help maintain a safe environment. BisChat includes dedicated, easy-to-use reporting mechanisms directly within the application.
Users can flag concerning content, suspicious behavior, or explicit material directly from any chat or profile. Reports involving child safety are prioritized and escalated immediately to our specialized trust and safety team for rapid review and intervention.
4. Law Enforcement Cooperation
Our zero-tolerance policy extends to full cooperation with authorities. When CSAM/CSAE is detected, we do not simply ban the user; we escalate the matter to the appropriate legal channels.
We proactively report verified incidents to organizations such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant local or international law enforcement agencies. We comply with all legal preservation requests and subpoenas to aid in the investigation and prosecution of offenders.
5. Designated Point of Contact
We have established a dedicated point of contact for issues relating to child safety, CSAM, and CSAE. Law enforcement agencies, organizations, or users with urgent child safety inquiries can reach our Safety Liaison directly at AAsesman@airsid.com.
